There are speculations that my store might close in the upcoming few months so I’m wondering what happens after that. Do they just leave you hanging or they transfer you to work at another store? Do we get any “severance pay”? What will our jobs look like in the last few weeks? Just wanna be prepared if it actually happens.
If there are other Walmart stores nearby you will probably be transferred, temporarily at least. I wanted to also tell you that I had been hearing the same speculations about my store for 2 years already and they never turned out to be true.
when our store closed, you had to reach out to other stores by email . Then it was up to them if they had a place for you.
