We don’t get paid enough to be yelled at by strangers

Some customers come in already mad, looking for someone to take it out on. Today it was me, over a price tag that wasn’t updated fast enough. Got cursed out, accused of “lying,” and when I stayed calm, I was told I had an “attitude.” What are we supposed to do? Let them scream until they’re satisfied? There’s no support when that happens. We’re just expected to smile and take it. Some days, I wonder why we even bother. #RetailBurnout #RespectGoesBothWays
