walmart needs to work on their disciplinary actions

The way they handle disciplinary actions needs a serious overhaul. It's like they're painting everyone with the same brush, regardless of the situation. Take the open-door process, for instance. It should definitely be more flexible, tailored to each individual case. I get it, gross misconduct is a big deal, but seriously, there's a massive difference between accidentally forgetting to pay for a peach and intentionally pocketing cash from the register. Yet, they're treating both situations with the same severity, and it's just not fair.
