Walmart is a nightmare for suppliers

Lately, I’ve been really bothered by how Walmart treats its suppliers. They act like suppliers are easy to replace and keep pushing them to lower their prices. If a supplier can’t meet their demands, Walmart just swaps them out without a second thought. Because there are so many options, Walmart holds all the power and uses it harshly. This makes things really tough for suppliers, who have to accept unfair rules just to stay on the shelves. It’s not just the suppliers feeling the pressure. Management here acts like they’re better than everyone else and treats employees like we’re replaceable too if we don’t follow their rules. There’s no real respect or appreciation for the hard work we do, and it often feels like nobody listens to us. I’ve already seen lots of good workers quit because they couldn’t handle the toxic atmosphere, and it’s hard watching that happen knowing you could be next if you don’t play along.
