The Struggles of Working at Sam's Club

It never fails to amaze me how some customers treat us like we’re their personal assistants when they can’t find something in the store. Like, sorry, but I’m just here to scan your membership card, not conduct a treasure hunt for your lost ketchup! And then there are my coworkers who act like this job is the end of the world. Honestly, I just clock in and out without stressing over the small stuff. It’s just a job, not a life sentence! Speaking of my coworkers, we recently got a new hire who is ridiculously overqualified for a Sam's Club associate position. I mean, this person has a PhD, and it’s awkward watching the management side-eye them all the time. You can practically feel the jealousy in the air! They’re acting like it’s a competition instead of just appreciating that we have someone who can bring real skills to the team. It’s a shame that this place has turned into a battleground over titles.
