Overnight workers make the whole store function, but you’d never know it from how we’re treated. No thank-yous, no decent coffee, no one even checks if the fans are working back in the dock. We clean up the chaos, reset displays, unload freight, and prep the floor so day shift walks into something that looks remotely organized. But unless something goes wrong, no one notices. We’re expected to work like machines with minimal support, broken equipment, and lighting that makes you feel like you’re in a horror movie. Respect to every night crew member out there still clocking in and handling business while the rest of the world sleeps.
