That's kinda hilarious when you think about it
There is a WEATHER EMERGENCY in the city and every single one of my associates thinking about how not to come to work without getting fired. That just show how much Walmart cares about it's associates.
That's what you agreed up on when you first started the job. So I know it might sound harsh but they owe you nothing.
I mean it's not gonna be any different at another job. It's not just walmart. That's just what you get when you live in an environment like that.
Most businesses weren't open in my city due to weather conditions. So yeah, maybe it's just Walmart and it has nothing to do with where I live.
my friend then you should be applying for a job that allows you to work from home.
During these times, I hate this place DOUBLE TIMES because everyone is stressed and they just make sure you feel the same way too.

I don't expect them to be very caring about us because at the end of the day it's a business, and they should make the best out of every opportunity. In weather emergencies, people tend to buy more out of panic and walmart obviously needs its associates to handle the business. What I don't like about all this is the fact that we don't get our piece of the pie. If you want me to come to the store and do my job in a snow storm, then it shouldn't be that hard for you to pay me a little more.
