Tap to pay feature lacking

I’ve seen a lot of people wondering does Walmart have tap to pay and it’s kind of surprising for everyone, but the answer is no, well not in the way you’d expect at least. Unlike a lot of other stores, Walmart hasn’t fully embraced the whole tap-to-pay trend with contactless cards or using Apple Pay and Google Pay directly at the register. Instead they push everyone towards using their Walmart Pay app which links up with your card or bank account. You can scan a QR code at checkout but honestly it’s not quite the same as just tapping your card or phone and being done with it. It’s like they want you to use their system instead of the more standard methods that work everywhere else. It’s not a bad option if you shop there all the time, but for people who are used to tapping their card or phone and going, it’s definitely not as smooth. I’ve seen customers get pretty frustrated when they find out their usual methods don’t work.
