Some Problems?

I work at the home office in Bentonville. I'm an electronics associate merchant. What are some problems you guys are having with merchandise, displays, or features in your store?

There needs to be a better way to handle video games that don't sell. I have copies of Cyberpunk for PS4 that should have been recalled when PSN took the game down.

Also, why can't I order new 8x11 sign holders for the TVs? Half my wall doesn't have price signs because customers broke them off. I submitted a support ticket, but the mod cover letter mentioned a number that doesn't show up. Support told me my Anderson person should do it, but she said she can't.

Why isn't it standard to have display boxes for TVs and keep the actual TVs in the back? It would cut down on theft.

"Features" don't sell at all. I have a Razer end cap that has only sold half the products in six months, two $300 printers that haven't sold since January, a karaoke thing that has sold maybe five in four months, and a vinyl end cap that just takes up space.

And lastly, can we get a sign saying we aren't tech support and can't fix people's phones or set up their prepaid services?

Modulars need to have some wiggle room. If you know any modular team members, please ask them to put mod plans into a CAD program and add tolerances for each section. This will help our different shelves and gondolas fit better with most mods. I know the gondolas are "standard," but the Home Office buys them with loose tolerances to keep costs down, which leads to a lot of variation.

Price changes on the xCover are really annoying. Only doing 10 at a time and having to locate myself every time is a waste of time.

maybe it's a waste of time, but they're more likely to be done properly. you can't just print them in the back room and throw them in the trash, saying they're "done." i mean, you could still do that, but since you already wasted time scanning, you might as well spend more time doing it right. just my 2 cents.

there needs to be a way to get rid of old phone cases besides putting them on clearance. we have way too many that just don't sell. i have so many for phones we don't carry and haven't had in years.

the features like onn party speakers are stupid and don't sell.

get rid of the music sections, they just don't sell.

i keep getting too much stuff from the warehouse. for example, i should only have 2 printers (one for display and one in-home), but i get sent 4 at a time.

walmart should stop selling cell phone accessories in the store and make them online purchases. it would stop a lot of stealing. in the store, so many cell phone accessories get stolen. if they were only online, it would cut down on theft.

MY STORE LOCKED UP ALL THE ELECTRONICS, CELL PHONE CABLES, AND CASES. SOMEONE GOT MAD AT ME ONE TIME WHEN I WENT TO COVER BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE $8 CABLE HAD TO BE PAID FOR "RIGHT NOW IN ELECTRONICS." I SAID ANYTHING IN THE CASE HAS TO BE PAID FOR IMMEDIATELY.
