Scheduling chaos and the illusion of balance

Last week I was begging for more hours. This week they’ve given me six straight days with three closings and two opens. The schedule makes no sense. One day I’m in grocery, the next I’m pulling online orders with no training. There’s no consistency, no communication. If you ask for clarification, you get vague HR responses or are told to talk to someone who’s not even in the store. I like working, but I don’t like being yanked in five directions with no support. Burnout isn’t a maybe—it’s built into the system. #OverworkedUnderinformed #RetailScheduling
