It's hilarious how many customers come in asking if Walmart does price match. You can see the hope in their eyes as they talk about those deals they found at other stores, expecting us to be the magical solution to their shopping dilemmas. Honestly, it’s not as simple as they think. Some folks seem to believe we’ll just hand over the same item for less without any questions. The number of times I’ve had to explain the price match policy is unreal. It’s almost like people forget to read the fine print before coming to us. I hate it when they pull out their phones to show us ads like it's some kind of negotiation tactic. I mean, I get it—everyone loves a good deal. But some of these comparisons are wild, like expecting a big box store to match a tiny local shop’s prices.
