What's it like?
i'm so done with the overnight shifts at walmart, seriously! i always end up having to deal with the aftermath of poor stocking in the dairy and lunch meat sections. i mean, just yesterday, I found a yogurt that expired in February- how does that even happen?
all of this can be much better if managed better but that'd be a long post
ugh, i wish everyone got how hard the overnight shift is. they call us "the spine" of the store, but still, we're always treated so badly. they keep saying we're all a team, but when it comes to us night shift folks, it feels like we're never doing enough.
do you know how rough it is to work nights? i've been at it for 8 of my 14 years, and it totally su^ks. the only good part is the extra pay for working these hours, but other than that, I barely get to see my son and I'm pretty much a zombie on my days off.
