So yesterday, I was eating a pretzel in the break room, and my TL came in to tell me I shouldn’t be doing that. I asked why, and he said it’s rude to the people who clean the room. I’m sorry, but that’s just stupid. It’s not in my contract to avoid eating pretzels in a break room, and you have no authority to tell me otherwise, Period.

Stop overreacting. He didn’t say he was going to fire you if you kept eating pretzels. He just stated his opinion and it’s on you to take it seriously or not.
