More work = better!?

After a store next to the Walmart where I work closed, our traffic had almost doubled. All the extra work made my days go by a lot faster, which made me realize that even though it sounds scarier, having more work is a lot better. I find myself far more exhausted after a day of just being idle at work than after a full day of running from one place to another. Does anyone feel the same?

  • being busy is always good.
  • being busy protects you.
  • it's good for promos, transfers, relationships with other associates and management.
  • it's mentaly healthier, you are occupied, you mind is working on something productive.
  • you feel accomplished.
  • your body works, your mind works and overall it feels great.
  • keep being busy, it'll allways turn out good

No way lol! I'll take a slow day anytime over working that much. Maybe if I'm getting paid more for it I would be open to talking about that.
