I have worked at Walgreens and I have worked at CVS and I can tell you that while far from ideal, working as a pharmacist at Walmart is by far the best option of the three. At least here I'm not alone trying to run the entire thing by myself because of how stingy they are with staffing. I have to say I'm grateful I now work here.
I’m glad you are happy at your job. However I wouldn’t be so quick to make the judgment that Walmart is better than the other two companies you worked at before. I think it’s more likely that you got lucky arriving at a location that’s not understaffed, and where your colleagues are responsible. Some people may leave, some may get laid off, a decision may arrive that a fewer number of employees is needed at your location,…. All and all, if you have the same opinion in a year or two, then I will believe you.
Name me one store that isn't understaffed.
I can say that I share the opinion of the person that said that it’s more up to a certain location and the way things are conducted there, rather than the question that one company is better than the other. I too am a pharmacist at Walmart and I worked at three locations. Two of them were a nightmare and I wouldn’t change my present one for the world.
