Is it OK to call Walmart to see what's happening with my application?
I wouldn't normally do that, but I suspect I might have missed a call from them sometime last week. Don’t ask me how, it’s a long story, but it’s a good chance it happened. Now I’d like to know if it would affect my future employment prospects in any way if I call the store where I applied directly.
Calling them or even going there in person will definitely help your application.

Call them and they will answer. Most of stores have hard time finding GOOD people and they will do their best to help. So just call, they will help you. Good luck.
