Even if you are an exemplary associate, they'll find some loophole to fire you. They'll terminate you for anything, no matter how small or insignificant it is in reality. We've just lost a great associate because our TL didn't like him. I don't know what they gave him as a reason, but I know for a fact it wasn't any of the usual fireable offenses. This guy was too good for that. I hate this place.
Be nice to your TL, that's the key.
True, there is nothing you can do about it. My advice would be that you start looking for a new job the moment you see a shift in the behavior of your superiors towards you.
If they set their minds for firing you, any offense is fireable.
