Hubby’s in trouble

Hello everyone. I’m an ex Walmart associate, and my story isn’t about me, it’s about my husband who’s still a Walmart associate. He works as a Team Lead and there’s this overweight older lady who works as a cashier. My thoughtful husband kept insisting that maybe she should request a transfer to a department where she could move more. He talked to her about it a few times, because it would make her healthier, right? That’s what he thought. But the lady wasn’t feeling it. She finally called ethics about this issue and now he’s in trouble. Always be careful how you are communicating your thoughts. And always be careful about who you are talking to.

With all due respect it’s none of your husband's business.

He was just trying to be thoughtful.

Yes, in a wrong way.

We live in a world where you get in trouble just because you care about someone. They'd rather for you to not care about them than get their feelings hurt about the obvious facts.

You can always care about someone in a kinder manner.

that's too direct, even nosy. maybe his intentions were good but it's just not the right way !!! if he's a team lead he could've done it in a more subtle way by working on getting her to other position which I guess he'd be able to, as a superior. indirectly, for instance!!!

Exactly. There were 100 ways to help this lady and he decided to choose the worst one.
