How to handle rude customers

honestly, I don’t count anymore for how many times customers have started yelling at me and accusing me of some sh*t I never did. I learnt that the best defense mechanism for that is to smile and say sorry. will drive them nuts because you didn’t want to be miserable with them.

It’s messed up that we have to keep smiling and apologizing to people who don’t deserve it. Sometimes I just want to tell them off, but we all know how that would go

Be aware that nasty customers are mad at a situation, not always at you. They might be having a rotten day besides, and since you are there, you get the brunt of their anger. Try to be pleasant, but if the customer persists or gets violent, get a manager involved.

just other day I had a customer getting rude to me I got a little rude back trying to explain myself she wanted to talk to a manager as one was walking up she complained about me the manager took me in office let me tell myself I didn't get in trouble I went back to door I think I shocked that custom when she saw that I was still there as she walked by I said with a big smile Have a great Day.
