Got fired today
"Apparel TL, got fired because I missed work after a catastrophic snow storm that left over a foot of snow made it impossible to even get out of my driveway. Have videos of my car even getting stuck. They said I shouldn’t have allowed myself to get to that point where I’m living on the edge and that’s what PPTO is for, to use for times like that. I mean, they’re right I guess and it is what it is but.. I was literally spun out stuck on the side of a hill. I know it was going to lead to my 5th point but the storm knocked out the entire towns electricity the entire day it was so bad. Even Walmart itself was closed because power was out. I just figured with something like that they would be reasonable and let me off the hook but the store manager made a call to not let anyone off the hook for missing."
