First physical job

I’ve had an office job forever and this is my first ‘physical’ job. Istg guys you are such fighters! In the 5 days I’ve been working I’m already having an existential crisis. It’s taking a toll on both my mental and physical health. I really want to do this but I’ve just been too lazy and stationary my whole life. Is there someone who had similar problems who could lend me some help or tips to push through this phase of my life? Thanks a lot in advance everyone.

I transitioned from a desk job to a warehouse gig a few years back, and it was a huge adjustment. My advice is to take it slow and give yourself some grace. Your body needs time to adapt, so make sure you're stretching before and after work, staying hydrated, and getting enough sleep. It gets easier with time, I promise!

It is a tough shift, but you’re not alone. When I made the switch, I found that focusing on small wins helped a lot. Celebrate each day you complete, no matter how tough.
