Feel so happy

I've been hustling in retail for a solid decade, landed at Walmart for their college thing, and been grinding there for almost 2 years now. Today's my birthday, but I didn't bother asking for the day off thanks to my good ol' friend, anxiety. So, I'm on my lunch break, walking past the big boss, and he throws out a ""Happy Birthday! Why are you here?"" We sho^t the breeze for a bit, and I spill the beans about my anxiety. Next thing I know, he's giving me the rest of the day off, even let me cash in some of my PTO since I'm fresh out of PPTO. Let me tell you, in my decade of retail he^l, I've never had a boss this decent. I always dread asking for time off 'cause past bosses would guilt-trip me into working, no matter how far ahead I planned it. Man, I'm feeling blessed. Turns out, he's got this soft spot for birthdays; he pulls this stunt for everyone who clocks in on their special day xd. What a weirdo.
