No matter how hard I work or how much I try to move up, it feels like I keep running into the same wall. The m anagement clearly plays favorites because only a small group of people seem to get any real chances or recognition, and they’re always the ones landing the good shifts and promotions, meanwhile, the rest of us are left doing all the hard work with nothing to show for it. I’ve brought it up before, but it’s always brushed off with some lame excuses and it feels like the only real option is to look for something better somewhere else.

Management in stores is often incompetent. Most are in their positions because they chose to surrender their lives to Walmart AND got lucky with favoritism. If you want just to earn some money for a while, stay for a while. If you respect yourself, run for your life!
