The topic of Walmart ethics comes up among employees and customers more often than you'd think. I’ve heard all kinds of opinions about the company’s practices, from labor issues to environmental concerns. It seems like everyone has a story or a viewpoint, whether they’ve worked here or just shopped regularly. Some customers are quick to call out the company for its treatment of workers, while some brush it off as just business as usual. The conversations in the break room can get pretty heated tho, especially when someone brings up pay or benefits. You can feel the tension rise as employees share their experiences and frustrations. It’s not just about making a living, it’s about feeling valued and respected.
Honestly I get the frustration. I’ve only been here for 3 years but it’s hard to ignore the way some of us are treated. The pay is okay but sometimes it feels like they don’t really care about our well being. I’ve seen some of my coworkers struggle with the scheduling too especially those who have kids. I just wish they’d listen to us more.
I’m pretty new, just started working here last year. At first, it seemed fine steady paycheck, not too stressful. But the more I talk to the others, the more I realize that there are some real issues. Like, why is it so hard to get a consistent schedule?
I’m just trying to pay for school, but I can see why people get frustrated.

I’ve been with Walmart for over 15 years, and I’ve seen the good and the bad. When I started, it felt like a solid place to work, but things have changed. The pay raises are small, and the workload keeps getting heavier. I’m not saying it’s all bad, but it’s definitely not what it used to be. We just want to be heard and respected, that’s all.
