Dear Managers

You’re responsible for everything that happens at Walmart, good and bad. So stop acting like you’re not. You’re responsible for your associates' working conditions because it affects their well being. You can’t just deny that massive responsibility. You can’t create a he^l for people and then act like nothing’s happening. It’s so unprofessional and inhumane, to be honest. Get your sh^t together and take responsibility. Treat the people below you fairly if you expect to be treated fairly by those above you. Karma’s real. What goes around comes around. Do better.

I keep reading these posts about managers being horrible and I feel lost. I feel like I’m not working for the same Walmart that you guys work for. I don’t know if I should feel bad or good about this but these stories seem so unrealistic.

Good for you that you have decent people managing you but most of us have not. So it’s unrealistic to ME that people are actually okay with their managers.

It’s all about expectations. If you expect to be treated like a princess, then Walmart isn’t the place for you. That’s true. But let’s be real, no company exists where they treat their associates like royalty. So accept reality and move the fu^k on.
