Clocking out after the real shift ends

Every single day I clock out, then end up staying another 10 minutes because someone needs help grabbing returns, or a cart’s blocking the backroom, or someone starts a whole conversation while I’m literally halfway out the door. And before anyone says anything—I know I’m not supposed to work off the clock. But half the time I feel guilty just walking past chaos while I’ve still got my vest on. Is it just my store, or is this the norm? I’ve started timing my clock-out earlier just to give myself that “exit window.” #ClockingOut #StoreLife
