My wife and I are planning a move to Florida and I want to continue at Walmart because I love my job. How can I do that? Do I request a transfer or apply to an open position there?
Yes, I've been working here since last April
Cool. Then you can request a transfer on wire. You can see the stores that they have over there in FL and the openings that each store has. You can move from there.
Thank you!
I would say apply to as many positions as you can. Even if it's higher than your current position, just try it.
That's not a good idea
Why??
He wouldn't want to be too available and too hungry for a new position there.
I mean every application that he does is gonna be for a different store, meaning it's not gonna be assessed by the same people. So he should be fine
Oh my bad I thought you didn't mean applying to different stores. I thought you said he should apply to different positions in one store.
He can do that too without a problem I think. No one is gonna get hurt just by trying right? 🙂
Good choice buddy. The weather is perfect out here except the sh*t storms that's happening from time to time but it's okay. Also the people are nice and friendly so I think you and your wife will love florida!
Thank you so much! The weather is one of the biggest reasons that we want to move there.
