Annual profit of Walmart thoughts?
Saw a headline about the annual profit of Walmart being in the billions again. Meanwhile, we’re still getting called out for asking for 40 hours. I don’t wanna sound bitter, but like… how is it we’re making record profits but we’re still stretched thin every shift?
Fr, they looked at me sideways for asking to go from 32 to 38.
It’s like they want us poor and grateful.
Then they act surprised when morale is trash.
That “we’re a team” speech really hits different when you’re the whole team.

My TL said I need to “show more dedication” if I want more hours. Meanwhile, I haven’t taken a sick day in 9 months.
What more they want? Blood?
Probably. And they’ll schedule you the next day anyway.
