A question for TLs, why did you choose the position and did you think about refusing it?
I'm just a checkout dude at Walmart, and this big s^ot in charge of the cashiers is bailing to another store. So, guess what? Some other leader comes up to me, all curious, asking if I'm gonna step up for the gig. I straight up told her, nah, ain't worth the extra hassle for a few extra bucks (plus, stress makes me shake like crazy), and I'm not giving up my chill days off, which those front end bosses can't seem to keep. Got me wondering what's rattling around in everyone else's brains.
True. Sometimes the bonus isn't worth the hassle.
