They should follow Japan's technique and show great appreciation to all whether part time or full. Costco seems to understand that the employees pay matters and has publicly Put themselves on the map in a great pay raise. I want to have a salary that gives me a Life! I am self checkout and I deal directly With the customer. I'm important and I'm VERY good at my job. It's proven in my surveys. I care about walmart and its reputation. I love my job and defend them on social media everyday. I make the customer #1. I just don't want to struggle in life. I work 32 hours per week with multiple toe deformities and I am loyal to Walmart. I make 15 dollars an hour and I'm 55. Would like walmart to take pride in me. There are tons of surveys in on me. Can I please be paid what I'm worth?

I can ask anybody else in the store to buy as many as I want for me and give them to me later on. Nobody's going to check on stuff like that. ... read moreI'm an AM at an NHM and since I started, my TM has been training me to know everything he does so I can step in when he is sick or takes a day off. I was happy to learn and I thought it was a great idea - plus, I thought it would create a good opportunity for me to move up. I was wrong.
Now I do my job and the job of my TM pretty much every day. Everything he doesn't feel like doing is handed down to me - and there are a lot of things he doesn't feel like doing. He disappears for hours every day and I have to cover for him. This has reached a point where I'm considering quitting because I'm so overworked. Which su^ks, since I like this place and most of the people I work with.
