I'm an octopus at this point

Hello dear associates. You don't need to know my name but what you need to know is I work at Walmart as a front end associate and I'm getting sick of it. When I started this, I already knew it wasn't one of the best jobs at Walmart but still, I wasn't expecting this amount of disrespect and unfairness. When you want to do a Walmart job application online and you read the job description, it's not a complex job, at all. You run a register, help people at the SCO, greet some people and get paid, go home, feed your kids, and live your life. That sounds like a plan, right? Unfortunately, it's not what it seems. I used to read negative comments about the job online before I completed my Walmart application, and I'm not gonna lie I thought people were overreacting. I mean how bad could it be, right? Well, let me tell you how bad it could actually get for you as a front end associate at Walmart. I'm going to tell you about my one day as an associate of this company and you will feel enough to hate this job. Yesterday, I clocked in and bang, the chaos started. My manager tells me to hop on a register because the line gets uncontrollable at other registers. Anyway, I did just that for about an hour and then here he came again, asking me to run the SCO because the person that's running it is missing today. They couldn't find any other associate but me. Anyway, I went there and started helping people who have no idea how a technological device works, and telling the teenagers that they actually need an ID to buy alcohol, etc etc. Usual stuff. And then some id^^t dropped a bottle of wine and apparently maintenance was short yesterday (they're always short btw). While I was cleaning the area, well let me put it this way, while I was doing something that was not my job, I had to answer 10 questions from the customers in like 5 minutes. And then I'm being called to carry a 50 inch tv because I'm young, I can do it. (like there are no other young people in the store). Then I finally got back to my register and found people yelling at me about how they had been waiting for me for 10 minutes while my front end manager giving me a side eye because I wasn't in a place where I was supposed to be (like he isn't the one who started all of this). So like that's just one day. You might think that I did most of the things that I stated at the beginning of the post as some things that are in the front end job description. Well, fair enough and not fair enough. Let me tell you why. I was lucky that my manager didn't run into me yesterday because if he did, I'm 200% sure that he was going to warn me about me not being in my register. That's how hypocritical these people can get. Another thing, I did the job of maintenance yesterday and I can assure you I did that tens of times for this month alone so far. I also can assure you that I'm not going to get paid extra for it. So I get to do a job that can be done by 3 people, but I get paid the salary of one. That's what bothers me the most and this is only the monetary part. The psychological part is another mess. There is no sympathy from managers. They don't understand you. They don't want to understand you and they never did, or will. Anything you say to them is an excuse for you to not doing your job. It's really humiliating to so many people including me (rightfully so). So here it is, Walmart is a company that will use you for 100% of your powers and abilities and not match your performance and sacrifices when it's a payday. If you are okay with that or you have no other choice like so many people, come to Walmart. I guarantee you won't enjoy it, but it is what it is.
